WAHK Office Services Arrangements

Taking into account the improvement in the epidemic situation, the WAHK office will resume its normal office hours starting from 18 February 2021 (Thursday).

Normal Office Hours:

Monday to Friday

10:00am to 1:00pm, 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

Notice

Re-open of Jockey Club Stanley Windsurfing Centre

Following the Government announcement on 3 February 2021 about “Government extends social distancing measures under Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance”, the Jockey Club Stanley Windsurfing Centre (“the Clubhouse”) will be Re-opened on 4 February 2021. However, all users and visitors of the Clubhouse shall follow the special measures listed below until further notice:

 

1)Any person within the Clubhouse is required to wear a mask before and after exercise except when having a shower;

2)If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, include fever, malaise, dry cough and shortness of breath, please STOP using facilities in the Clubhouse and consult a doctor immediately;

3)Must go through temperature checks in the Clubhouse’s office upon arriving the Clubhouse. Fill in and sign up on the health declaration form or scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” QR code;

4)Maximum of 4 people are allowed to use the changing room at the same time.

 

Furthermore, in order to reduce the risk of the spread of the COVID-19, the following infection control arrangement will be applied to the facilities in the Clubhouse;

 

1)Alcohol-based handrub will be provided in the Clubhouse;

2) Cleaning measures will be stepped up at the venue;

3) Keep social distancing between users of at least 1.5 metres by opening alternate showering cubicles only;

4) Water fountain will be temporary suspended.

 

The Sub-Committee will continue to monitor the situation closely and review the arrangements in a timely manner. We hope that all users and visitors of the Clubhouse would follow the above measures and working together to defeat the epidemic.

Temporary closure of Jockey Club Stanley Windsurfing Centre

In view of the latest developments with COVID-19 and in response to the Government’s announcement (8 December 2020) on the anti-epidemic measures, the WAHK Clubhouse (Jockey Club Stanley Windsurfing Centre), including the changing rooms, will be TEMPORARILY CLOSED from 10 December 2020 until further notice.

Following the Government’s advice to reduce the risk of the novel coronavirus spread in the community, special work arrangement will be implemented to our office in the Olympic House from 2 December 2020 onwards. Office hour will be changed as follow:

However, all users and visitors of the Clubhouse shall follow the special measures listed below until further notice:

With the tremendous performance and progress made in the past few years, windsurfing was one of the first batch of sports granted target sport status by the Hong Kong Sports Development Board in 1991.
