WAHK Hall of Fame
Introduction
The WAHK Hall of Fame serves a purpose as a pantheon to salute & pay tribute to the outstanding Hong Kong Windsurfers. These exceptional windsurfers successfully shaped the status of the Association in Hong Kong and played a pioneering role in the development of the sport of Windsurfing in Hong Kong with their extraordinary achievements and sportsmanships. Their accomplishments are worthy to be memorized and enshrined in a respectful way to praise and set an ultimate goal to our next generation of windsurfers.
Requirement
1. Olympic Games Representative for Hong Kong(Including Hong Kong, China & British Hong Kong) OR
2. Asian Games Gold Medalist OR
3. World Championships Medalists in Olympic Class
Nomination & Induction Process
1. All inductees must be nominated by member of the Former National Squad Members Sub-Committee
2. After the nomination of the Former National Squad Members Sub-Committee, the inductees list must be endorsed by the General Committee.
3. Inductees are considered as complete induction after the endorsement of the General Committee.
4. For inductees nominated by the Former National Squad Members Sub-Committee & failed to get endorsement from the General Committee, members from the Former National Squad Members Sub-Committee are not allowed to re-nominate the same inductee within 6 months.
Removal Process
1. If the majority of the members of the Former National Squad Members Sub-Committee found that any of the inductees are in any reasons, considered inappropriately to represent the WAHK Hall of Fame, the Former National Squad Members Sub-Committee can submit a removal list to the General Committee for their consideration.
2. If the removal list is endorsed by the General Committee, the inductees will be removed from the WAHK Hall of Fame
3. For inductees removed, members from the Former National Squad Members Sub-Committee are not allowed to re-nominate the same inductee within 6 months.
